A full body Reiki treatment generally lasts for approximately one hour, and can be given with the patient either sitting or lying down, whichever is most comfortable and convenient. You will remain fully clothed, just removing your shoes. The healing treatment is given through the practitioner’s hands and it is not necessary to touch the patient, although this may be beneficial in some cases - you can discuss this with your practitioner. Personal areas of the body, of course, will be treated hands-off. No massage or manipulation of the body takes place.

We will note basic details such as name and address and discuss your general health prior to the treatment starting and you can mention any areas that you feel need special attention. You can also talk to your practitioner during the treatment about any aspect of the procedure. All that you need to do is relax as much as possible.

You may drift off to sleep which is perfectly all right.

We can treat you in your own home, in the office or workplace, in hospitals (under the supervision of the NHS staff or by a referral from your GP or Doctor) or and hospices.
